My position in this project was UX designer, with two other outstanding designers. As a team, we elicited detailed requirements from the client, scoping and preparing their needs and desires. As UX professionals, we proposed several improvements to their present scope, which were warmly received by the customer. Following that, the three of us worked together to create the project's Information Architecture, thoroughly planning out all of the modules and features that may be included in the app. Finally, one sprint was dedicated to fully designing the high fidelity designs while keeping accessibility and inclusion in mind.

The Dhaka Metro App offers seamless travel management with features like secure registration, login/logout, and multi-language support (Bangla and English). Users can link existing metro cards, recharge them online with instant balance updates, and track travel and recharge history. The app also provides a journey planner, fare calculator, and access to station maps, helping commuters plan efficient routes and optimize their travel experience. Notifications for low balance, metro delays, and important updates keep users informed.


Additionally, the app offers detailed information on the Dhaka Metro network, nearby places of interest, and emergency contacts for easy access. Users can check carbon and time savings, watch educational videos, and get support through FAQs, customer service chat, or emergency helplines. Comprehensive legal and privacy policies ensure user data is handled securely.
